Metro dade project number 11 1222 07. Eliminates problems of job mixed mortar. Remove all cement and dust off tiles. Meets astm c 270 specifications for type m mortar and meets south florida and metro dade building code requirements.

Oldcastle sakrete roof tile mortar mix is a mixture of high strength masonry cement and sand. 1 carefully pry up the tile or tiles just above the cracked or broken one. Lift all ridge tiles. Cleaning and inspecting the roof regularly can help prevent major damage from occurring.

If not repaired the roof tiles may easily dislodge and become airborne during a high wind event. Repairing broken roofing tile instead of replacing means that the pieces can be glued together. However this is labor intensive. Also pry or force out any nails.
